Frequently Asked Questions

What people most often wonder about Zoom plans, Webinar, Rooms and hardware products. If you cannot find the answer you are looking for, write to us or call; we will be happy to answer your questions.

What is the difference between the Zoom Pro, Business and Enterprise plans?

The difference is mainly in meeting capacity, cloud storage and management features. Pro supports meetings of up to 100 participants, Business up to 300 and Enterprise up to 1,000. The Pro plan includes 10 GB of cloud recording per licence; Business adds single sign-on (SSO), managed domains and company branding; Enterprise offers unlimited cloud storage and a Webinar for 500 participants.

For a detailed comparison, see our "which plan is right for you?" article.

What should I do if more than 100 people will join a meeting?

On the Pro and Business plans, the number of participants can be raised to 1,000 with the Large Meeting add-on. If you will be presenting one way to a large audience, Zoom Webinar may also be the right option.

How much do Zoom licences cost? Are the prices annual?

With annual billing, Zoom's list price is $14.16 per user per month for Pro ($169.92 a year) and $18.33 per month for Business ($219.96 a year). Prices are per licence. There is no price list for Enterprise; our sales team prepares a quote based on your needs. Because installation, hardware and training are planned separately, we confirm the exact amount during the quote process.

What is the difference between Zoom Webinar and Zoom Meetings?

Meetings is for meetings in which participants talk to each other. Zoom Webinar is the product that puts presenters in the spotlight and lets you broadcast live to large audiences: it offers tools such as branded registration pages, Q&A, polls and live streaming.

For the steps of running an event, see our Zoom Webinar guide.

What is Zoom Rooms and what is it used for?

Zoom Rooms is a conference room solution that makes it easy to start and join video meetings in meeting rooms with a single touch. It includes features such as Smart Gallery, workspace reservation and kiosk mode.

For details, see our "What is Zoom Rooms?" article.

Can I connect my existing SIP or H.323 room systems to Zoom?

Yes. The Zoom Conference Room Connector connects standards-based SIP and H.323 room systems to the Zoom cloud; these systems can meet in the same meeting as desktop, mobile devices and Zoom Rooms.
